More sea for Swabia: Eurowings will launch a new Sylt shuttle from Stuttgart on 21 July this year, thus closing a gap in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg’s flight schedule which arose last year. As of this date, holidaymakers can fly to the popular holiday island in next to no time on a 74-seat Bombardier DHC-8 turboprop aircraft every Thursday and Saturday. The flight time between Stuttgart and the island is calculated at just under two hours. The flights are already available for booking at www.eurowings.com or even more conveniently via smartphone and the Eurowings app.

The Eurowings turboprop takes off from Stuttgart on Thursdays at 10.20 and is scheduled to land on Sylt at 12.10, the return flight to Stuttgart departs from Sylt at 12.45. The flight times are slightly different on Saturdays: Eurowings then takes off from Stuttgart at the earlier time of 6.50 and the return flight from Sylt departs at 9.25.
Sylt is also known above all for its widely varied and upmarket cuisine. The island is becoming increasingly popular with overnight stay figures up by more than ten percent on last year. The relaxed atmosphere on the low-traffic island means that sea, sun, sand and wind are easier to enjoy here than anywhere else in Germany.
