Eurowings to launch flights from Berlin Tegel to Munich

Share

Starting on 1 May 2019, Eurowings will be flying from Berlin Tegel (TXL) to Munich up to four times a day. The flight times have been adapted to meet the needs of business travellers. The first Eurowings aircraft of the day will leave TXL for Munich at 07.00, the last will arrive in the capital at 21.55. The flight time is one hour and ten minutes.

Currently, the two cities are linked only by Lufthansa and easyJet. Lufthansa used to operate itself all the flights to its main hubs Frankfurt and Munich. Apparently, this policy is ceasing now: with additional Eurowings flights, the Lufthansa Group aims to better compete with easyJet.

Eurowings is thus increasing its range of flights from Berlin. In the summer of 2019, the airline will fly to 19 destinations in eight countries, including Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Munich. You can book your flights now.
