Caribbean twin pack: Eurowings is continuing its expansion in the south of Germany with two new long-haul flights from Munich airport. On Wednesday, 18 July 2018, the airline will take off from the Erdinger Moos area heading for the first time to Montego Bay in Jamaica (with Airbus A330 registered D-AXGA). And the following day, 19 July 2018, will see the first Airbus A330 flight from Munich to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.

In addition to a wide range of German and European routes, the number of long-haul routes which Eurowings is offering a good year after its launch at Munich airport is also growing. In total, ten intercontinental routes to the most attractive holiday destinations worldwide can be booked in the current summer flight schedule at prices starting from EUR199.99: Bangkok, Cancun, Mauritius, Montego Bay, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, Las Vegas, Fort Myers, Varadero and Windhoek.

The airline currently has three long-haul jets based at Munich (MUC) airport, and in the winter flight schedule, there will be two. Eurowings is concentrating its entire long-haul offering on the two airports in Dusseldorf and Munich and, with its large number of suitable connecting flights via these two airports, it offers an attractive long-haul range nationwide at an extremely attractive price. Flights can be booked on the Internet at www.eurowings.com or via the Eurowings app.

After Monday, Eurowings will fly from Munich to Montego Bay once a week every Wednesday morning; the flight time between Bavaria and Jamaica is a good eleven hours. The Munich flight will be supplemented by two further flights departing from Cologne. A suitable Eurowings connecting flight between Munich and Cologne provides the opportunity for flexible holiday planning. From the winter flight schedule 18/19, a weekly flight from Dusseldorf will supplement the weekly connection from Munich.

There is also one flight a week scheduled to Puerto Plata which will take off every Thursday. This flight will also be supplemented by two more from Cologne. Passengers from Munich will travel to the Dominican Republic in just under ten and a half hours.

Flight times in detail:

EW234 Munich (MUC) – Montego Bay (MBJ): Departure: 09:35, arrival: 13:45
EW235 Montego Bay (MBJ) – Munich (MUC): Departure: 15:15, arrival: 08:35
