Eurowings is looking for additional staff to join what has been the fastest growing airline in Europe for months
Following advertising job vacancies for 400 flight attendants and 200 pilots, Eurowings is now also seeking corresponding reinforcement, especially in operational areas. In a first phase, a large number of positions are being advertised for specialist operational staff, administration personnel and desk staff. The corresponding job offers have been published on the Lufthansa Group website: www.be-lufthansa.com/eurowingsjobs. Applications are being accepted from today.
Eurowings has opened three new bases in Munich, Palma de Mallorca and Salzburg this year alone and is also looking for additional staff at these locations. The growth path chosen is having an increasingly positive effect on Eurowings’ current workforce. Recently, the management decided to extend all currently time-limited contracts of all flight attendants, both those working for Eurowings and those working in flight operations at Germanwings. More than 200 jobs were extended indefinitely.
Eurowings currently employs a workforce of 3,500, including 800 staff at its home base in Cologne/Bonn. The search for new operational staff which has now begun means the advertisement of a further 800 positions in Germany and overseas.
