  • First Eurowings machine taken off in the direction of the glittering metropolis
  • All flights with comfortable BIZclass with “Full Flat” reclining seat
  • Las Vegas complements Eurowings’ intercontinental programme from Düsseldorf: Fort Myers, Miami, New York, Punta Cana, Varadero
  • One-way tickets already bookable from 269,99 EUR

As of today, Eurowings is heading to Las Vegas three times a week from Düsseldorf. For the first flight with flight number EW 1172, which took off on time, Düsseldorf Airport ceremoniously sent the long-haul Airbus A340-300 (reg. OO-SCW, operated by Brussels Airlines) with water salute on its route. 284 passengers were on board. The connection from North Rhine Westphalia to the glittering metropolis in Nevada is offered on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with a long-haul Airbus A330 or A340.

The new destination Las Vegas complements the Eurowings long-haul service in Düsseldorf with the destinations Fort Myers, Miami, New York (USA), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Varadero (Cuba). Every month, Eurowings takes off up to 170 times to attractive long-haul destinations in America and the Caribbean. These complement the strong range of short and medium-haul routes offered from the Point-to-Point Carrier’s largest location in Düsseldorf.

Comfort on board

Passengers can relax during their flight in the BIZclass at Eurowings – as is the case with the new Las Vegas connection: At the touch of a button, the comfort seat automatically turns into a two-metre-long bed with a horizontal lying surface (“full flat”). Other amenities include priority services, lounge access, HON Circle miles, free choice of food and drinks on board, increased baggage allowance (2x 32 kg) and a seat in rows 1 to 3 with more legroom.

Las Vegas – a top destination for German USA vacationers

The gold digger and gambler city of Las Vegas is one of the most attractive and popular destinations for German USA vacationers. With the legalization of gambling in Nevada, the foundation stone of today’s entertainment metropolis was laid. The city offers visitors a fascinating glittering world, which is above all shaped by the numerous legendary casinos. Las Vegas is the ideal starting point for day trips and round trips to popular attractions in the southwest of the USA such as the Grand Canyon Skywalk or Death Valley. The Hoover Dam, which dams the Colorado River to Lake Mead, is only 40 km away.
