Eurowings Holidays has unveiled a specially branded Airbus A321neo featuring giant sunglasses on its cockpit nose, promoting the tour operator’s growing holiday package business.
The 239-seat A321neo (D-AEEA) will primarily serve Eurowings’ “Mallorca shuttle”, with up to 400 flights per week from 26 European airports to Palma de Mallorca. Palma remains Eurowings’ largest base outside Germany, with eight aircraft stationed there.
Eurowings Holidays, spun off as a separate company in spring 2025, is expanding rapidly and aims to become one of Europe’s top 10 tour operators.
CEO Jens Bischof said the playful livery underscores Eurowings’ role as Germany’s largest leisure airline, carrying over 20 million holiday travellers annually, while offering a fun and memorable brand identity.
