Eurowings Group is growing rapidly: 600 jobs for pilots and flight attendants advertised; all Flight attendant contracts extended indefinitely

Share

The Eurowings Group is currently the fastest growing airline in Europe. It is therefore looking for pilots, co-pilots, pursers and flight attendants to operate aircraft for its corporate growth in successive stages. In a first phase, the initial aim is to hire 200 pilots and 400 flight attendants. Corresponding job advertisements have already been published under the “Careers” tab at www.eurowings.com.

Applications are now being accepted and the advertisement is not currently time limited. Accordingly, any pilot with a valid licence for the Airbus A320 can apply. Flight attendants and pursers require a valid licence for the A320 model.

In addition, the management – as a sign of Eurowings employees’ involvement in the planned growth – has already agreed to extend all current time-limited employment contracts of flight attendants for an indefinite period of time. Thus there are further prospects for more than 200 flight attendants of Eurowings and Germanwings whose contracts are to expire in 2018.

Flight attendants whose contracts are terminating at the end of 2017 have also been offered professional prospects either at Germanwings or as ready entries at Lufthansa.
