Eurowings allows free rebooking up to 40 minutes before departure with SMART and BIZclass fares

Share

Eurowings, a value airline, is enhancing its services by introducing “Flex Light” for customers with a myEurowings account. Starting on October 26, 2023, when booking a flight in the SMART or BIZclass fare, customers will receive a one-time free rebooking option that can be used up to 40 minutes before departure.

This service aims to provide flexibility in travel planning and accommodate changes in travel plans or unforeseen circumstances. Eurowings initially introduced free rebooking during the Covid pandemic and has now made it a permanent part of its product offering.

The free rebooking option is available to those booking SMART or BIZclass fares in their myEurowings account. Customers can change their flight date and time once, with only the potential price difference for the new flight needing to be paid. Those without a myEurowings account can add “Flex Light” for a fee of ten euros when booking a flight.

For customers who prefer not to use this service but still need to rebook, Eurowings is reducing the rebooking fee from 70 euros to 50 euros. “Flex Light” will be available from October 26, 2023, with existing bookings and business customers under specific terms and conditions.
