A Eurowings A320 had an engine failure on final approach to Brussels Airport on 26 November

The Aviation Herald reports that a Eurowings Airbus A320-200 registered D-AIQC performing flight EW-8100 from Berlin Tegel (Germany) to Brussels (Belgium) was on final approach to Brussels’ runway 25L on 26 November 2017 when an engine (CFM56) failed. The crew continued on one single engine for a safe landing on the runway.

The return flight was cancelled.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Brussels about 40 hours after landing.
