Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and is also known as the “Golden City”. The cityscape is characterized by the many bridges – thirty in total – under which the river Vltava flows. The most famous of these is the Charles Bridge. Prague is also known as the birthplace of Franz Kafka, one of the most important writers of the last century.

Gothenburg is a Swedish metropolis and an urban insider tip. It lies on the Göta älv river on the west coast. The port city is famous for its Dutch-style canals, green avenues and rustic coffee houses. A visit to the trendy district of Haga, where the largest cinnamon rolls in the world are said to be found, is worthwhile.

Gran Canaria is the third largest of the seven Canary Islands in Spain. Due to its varied flora and fauna with 14 microclimate zones, Gran Canaria is also known as a miniature continent. The volcanic island has a lot to offer: untouched nature, impressive coasts, hiking routes and dream beaches.

Larnaca is a harbour town on the South coast of Cyprus and the third largest of the Mediterranean island. The Finikoudes City Beach is particularly beautiful with its palm-fringed promenade along which bars and restaurants line up. Also, a trip to the coast of Ayia Napa, which attracts its visitors with crystal clear seawater and white sandy beaches, is worthwhile.

Valencia is located on the Southeast coast of Spain. The port city is also known as Barcelona’s little sister. With futuristic architecture, city beaches, pretty parks, colourful hustle and bustle on the streets and the typical Mediterranean flair, Valencia is very multifaceted.

Málaga is a port city on the Costa del Sol in Spain. Mediterranean flair and modern buildings, sandy beaches and skyline meet here. Numerous churches and chapels, palaces, fountains, as well as parks and historic gardens, invite tourists to linger. Those interested in art should definitely plan a visit to Pablo Picasso’s birthplace.
