Experience Herzegovina in summer: from May 2018, Eurowings will take off from Düsseldorf and Stuttgart for Mostar in Herzegovina twice a week. As of now, airline customers can book their tickets to Mostar from €29.99 and get ready for the summer ahead with flights to their favourite destination.
The Eurowings route network covers more than 160 destinations in nearly 50 countries, with a distinctly upward trend. To respond even more closely to its customers’ wishes, Europe’s fastest growing airline asked its passengers which destination they would most like Eurowings to head for next. Via the ‘You vote, we fly’ social media campaign, 300,000 customers and Facebook fans voted live for their new dream destination in the Eurowings route network: Mostar in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Commenting on Eurowings’ new destination of Mostar, Oliver Wagner, Eurowings Chief Commercial Officer, says, “We are the first airline in the world to let its customers decide which new destination to fly to – we’re very proud of that. We’re looking forward to operating twice-weekly flights to our customers’ new favourite destination of Mostar from May and thus further expanding our route network. Following the campaign’s huge success, we’re already planning a second season of ‘You vote, we fly’ for 2018.”
The flight days for the Mostar route from Stuttgart are Wednesday and Saturday, and for the route from Düsseldorf Wednesday and Sunday. The route will be operated with an Airbus A319 and flights will be available in the two rate tariffs, BASIC and SMART, with Eurowings customers deciding themselves which comfort features they want to make use of for their trip to Herzegovina. With cheap feeder flights from Berlin, Hamburg and London, the route can easily be combined with Stuttgart and Düsseldorf as a fast transfer connection. All flights can now be booked at www.eurowings.com or via the Eurowings app.
