Discover Airlines is significantly expanding its short- and medium-haul network for Summer 2026, with over 40 destinations served from Frankfurt and Munich. The leisure carrier will grow its Airbus A320 fleet to 18 aircraft by spring 2026 (11 in Frankfurt, 7 in Munich).
Ireland: The only direct flights from Germany to Shannon begin April 4, 2026, twice weekly from Frankfurt, ideal for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way.
Cyprus: New daily service to Larnaca from Frankfurt and Munich starts March 29, 2026, with double-daily frequencies on key days. These routes were previously operated by Lufthansa.
Italy: Brindisi added as a new Italian destination from June 2 to October 2026, twice weekly from Frankfurt.
Greece & Norway from Munich:
Finland: Oulu becomes a year-round nonstop from Frankfurt starting March 30, 2026, with additional service via Kittilä on Fridays.
This expansion emphasises authentic, nature-rich destinations and enhances Discover Airlines’ position as a strong leisure carrier in the German market.
