Discover Airlines will enter the British market in summer 2027 with new Airbus A320 services to Bristol, Glasgow and Inverness.
The Lufthansa Group leisure carrier will become the only airline offering nonstop flights from Frankfurt to all three destinations. It will also connect Munich with Glasgow, taking over a route previously operated by Lufthansa.
Frankfurt–Glasgow will begin on 29 March with up to six weekly flights, followed by Frankfurt–Bristol twice weekly from 17 May and Frankfurt–Inverness once weekly from 19 June. Munich–Glasgow will operate up to twice weekly from 16 May.
All four routes will have a flight time of approximately two hours. Discover Airlines will offer up to 11 weekly flights to Britain, targeting demand for holidays combining nature, outdoor activities and cultural tourism.
The new services complement the airline’s existing weekly summer connection between Frankfurt and Shannon, launched in April 2026.
