Discover Airlines will expand its Italian network in summer 2027 with new nonstop services from Munich to Alghero and from Frankfurt to Genoa. The Lufthansa Group leisure carrier says both routes will be the only direct connections between the respective airport pairs.
Flights between Munich and Alghero will begin on 4 June 2027 and operate every Monday and Friday. The service will complement Lufthansa Group flights from Munich to Sardinia’s other main airports, Olbia and Cagliari.
The Frankfurt–Genoa route will launch on 28 March 2027, operating on Saturdays and Sundays. A fixed proportion of its seats will be allocated to Costa Cruises passengers, reflecting Genoa’s importance as a Mediterranean cruise port.
Discover will also continue serving Bari three times weekly and increase Brindisi from two to three weekly flights. Its Italian programme will consequently comprise four destinations and up to ten weekly services, all operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.
