Bordeaux – Brussels for summer 2015

Brussels Airlines, a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group and a member of the Star Alliance, has expanded its network by choosing Bordeaux for the 2015 summer season. From 29 March, Aquitaine residents will be able to fly to Brussels up to four times a week with Brussels Airlines. This direct route between Bordeaux and Brussels will be take an Airbus A319 (141 seats) and flying time will be 1hr35. It will complete the existing flights to the Belgian capital.
Additionally, thanks to the airline’s Brussels hub, numerous connecting flights will be available to Brussels Airlines passengers with departure from Bordeaux to a number of northern European cities (Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin) and African destinations (Dakar, Ouagadougou, Conakry).

For airport director Pascal Personne, The arrival of this airline is good news for the network development strategy of Bordeaux Airport, as we are looking to facilitate access to international destinations, either with direct flights or via the main hubs. This new route will also consolidate the attractiveness of Bordeaux and will bring in an even greater number of visitors from Belgium and northern Europe to our beautiful region.
