This afternoon, Brussels Airlines’ latest Airbus A320 – registered OO-SNN – departed Larnaca, Cyprus destination Brussels Airport. Not that special, you might think, but the aircraft will be branded into the Eurowings livery and that’s a first on the European network of the Belgian airline.
OO-SNN is Brussels Airlines’ 17th Airbus A320 to join the short- and medium-haul fleet and the first aircraft in Eurowings livery in Europe operating on the Brussels Airlines AOC. The aircraft is not leased but owned by the company and has been entered into the Belgian register since yesterday (9 May). Previously, the aircraft operated for Air Berlin (D-ABFE) and for Niki and Laudamotion (OE-LOE).
As of 15 June, Brussels Airlines cabin and cockpit crew will operate the aircraft. Which is equipped with 180 seats in Laudamotion style. The aircraft still needs its new coat.
