Germanwings will operate twice-daily flights between Hamburg and Brussels under an ACMI agreement (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) for Brussels Airlines from 26 June to 26 October, Brussels Airlines spokeswoman Kim Daenen confirmed to Aviation24.be.

The aircraft, an Airbus A319 based in Hamburg, will also carry out some flights from Brussels to holiday destinations for the Belgian airline: Alicante, Faro, Lisbon, Thessaloniki, Seville. The A319 sports the Eurowings livery and flies under the joint Germanwings/Eurowings AOC.

This ACMI contract comes in addition to the wet-lease of two A319s from Czech airline CSA, one for the summer and the other for the full year.
