An engine problem forced an aircraft to make a priority landing this Saturday 13 July at Brussels Airport.
The Brussels Airlines Airbus A319 registered OO-SSK, connecting Ibiza to Brussels on flight SN3778, had to make a precautionary landing this Saturday at 19:04, writes Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.
Due to a problem with an engine, the pilot of the aircraft alerted the air traffic controllers. He was forced to make a precautionary landing: “It’s different from an emergency landing,” a spokeswoman for Brussels Airlines, Kim Daenen, told our colleagues. “In this case, the plane has priority and can land first.”
Firefighters were still alerted: “But this is a normal procedure,” said Daenen.
There were no injuries and everything went well for the 137 people on board.
