The aircraft registered EI-FPI, ex SAS, has been delivered today to Brussels Airlines, coming from Copenhagen to Brussels as commercial flight SN2258.

The Belgian airline welcomed earlier today the arrival of its fifth Bombardier CRJ-900 registered EI-FPI (MSN 15425), coming from SAS and operated by CityJet.

After the operations with Sukhoi Superjet SSJ100 aircraft were terminated between November 2018 and January 2019, Brussels Airlines has been replacing them with CRJ-900 and -1000 (the latter has been withdrawn), in a wet-lease agreement with CityJet.

EI-FPI has been in Ostrava from 10 to 16 May for repainting, probably in an all-white livery.

  1. The deal will allow Cityjet to further expand its so-called “wet leasing” operation, which sees it provide its own aircraft and crew to operate regional routes on behalf of bigger European carriers such as SAS.
