Brussels Airlines has partnered with renowned Belgian mixologist Manuel Wouters and Filliers Distillery to launch “Heritage”, a new signature aperitif now served exclusively in Business Class on the airline’s long-haul flights.
Developed over 10 months, the liqueur is inspired by Belgian traditions and combines Belgian apples, Pica pears, elderflower and locally produced grain spirit. Designed to showcase the country’s heritage, the drink can be enjoyed neat, over ice or mixed with tonic, ginger beer or Champagne.
The launch forms part of Brussels Airlines’ “Boutique Hotel” onboard concept, which highlights Belgian products and craftsmanship. Heritage is also available in the airline’s lounges and at Manuel Wouters’ own bar, while a non-alcoholic version is planned for the future.
The new aperitif is one of several customer experience investments announced by Brussels Airlines. The carrier will introduce Starlink Wi-Fi and open a renovated lounge at Brussels Airport in 2026, followed by the rollout of new long-haul cabins across its fleet in 2027.
