Starting next summer season Brussels Airlines will start weekly flights to Mallorca. From 27 April 2017 onwards, the Spanish island will be connected to Brussels Airport every Saturday from then on. Mallorca is the tenth Spanish destination in de Brussels Airlines network.

With Palma de Mallorca Brussels Airlines adds one of the most popular Spanish destinations to its growing portfolio. Mallorca welcomes tens of thousands Belgian tourists every year thanks to its magnificent nature and its great climate. From 29 April 2017, they can travel with Brussels Airlines to the Balearic island.

The flights, operated with Airbus A319/320 aircraft, leave Brussels Airport every Saturday afternoon to land at the international airport of Palma two hours later. The return flight leaves for Brussels in the early evening. Tickets are available as of today via brusselsairlines.com and travel agencies.

With its kilometres long sandy beaches, many cala’s (bays) and green inland, Mallorca appeals to both beach- and nature lovers. Sportsmen and cycling amateurs often come to the island for training purposes. Mallorca has undergone a real metamorphosis and the capital Palma has become a hotspot with many lounge bars and boutique hotels.

In recent years, Brussels Airlines has significantly expanded its offer in Spain. Two years ago, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Ibiza were added to the network. Last summer, Jerez de la Frontera joined the portfolio. With Palma de Mallorca, Brussels Airlines will serve no less than 10 Spanish destinations.

Mallorca is the fifth new destination that Brussels Airlines launches in 2017, after previously announcing Mumbai (India), Comiso (Sicily, Italy), Rhode (Greece) and Funchal (Madeira, Portugal).
