One day after learning about the reintroduction of Hanover in the Brussels Airlines network, Aviation24.be was informed that another destination will soon be relaunched: Bristol.
Bristol was abandoned after the demise of flybmi (aka bmi Regional) in February 2019. Unlike other Brussels Airlines destinations operated by flybmi, Bristol was not taken over by Loganair.
Brussels Airlines has thus decided to reintroduce the destination from 1 September 2019 with 6 weekly flights operated by wet-lease partner CityJet with Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft. The schedules are as follows:
SN2057 BRU 1505-1515 BRS CR9 X6
SN2058 BRS 1550-1805 BRU CR9 X6
During the winter 2019-20 schedule, the frequency will increase to 11-weekly:
SN2057 BRU 1640-1650 BRS CR9 X67
SN2059 BRU 2120-2135 BRS CR9 X6
SN2058 BRS 1730-1905 BRU CR9 X6
SN2060 BRS 0605-0820 BRU CR9 X67
A Brussels Airlines spokeswoman confirmed to Aviation24.be that all new destinations will be communicated shortly.
