Brussels Airlines reported an adjusted EBIT of -€46 million for the first half of 2025, a slight 2% improvement over last year. Despite several headwinds—including national demonstrations in Belgium causing €12 million in losses, asset revaluations, and unexpected maintenance costs—the airline remains confident in delivering a profitable full-year result for the third year in a row.
The airline will focus on cost discipline, operational excellence, and network optimisation. Strong summer demand is expected to help offset earlier losses and support a positive full-year financial result.
