The Belgian airline “Brussels Airlines” has just reduced its frequencies to Kinshasa, said Thursday the Congolese press agency ACP which allegedly got the news from the local headquarters of the company. “The company will now perform 3 of the 7 frequencies it provided before this decision was made by its hierarchy.”
Aviation24.be contacted Brussels Airlines, which strongly denies the affirmations of ACP. Brussels Airlines asked ACP to correct their report, but without results until now. The frequency of the Kinshasa flights remains at four per week.
Brussels Airlines is the main foreign company serving Congolese living in Belgium and in the European Union area. The number of passengers carried by the airline varies between 700 and 1200 passengers per week.
