Brussels Airlines has kicked off its annual Tomorrowland Party Flights, welcoming the first festivalgoers to Belgium aboard a specially themed flight from Ibiza. Over the next two weeks, the airline expects to carry 24,734 Tomorrowland travellers from 106 countries on 409 flights, with more than 1,000 passengers travelling on seven dedicated Party Flights.
The first Party Flight was operated by Amare, the Brussels Airlines–Tomorrowland-themed Airbus A320neo, featuring a live DJ performance by British artist Carly Wilford, festival lighting and an enhanced onboard sound system. Additional Party Flights will depart from cities including Barcelona, Rome and Prague.
Spain is the largest source market for Tomorrowland travellers flying with Brussels Airlines this year, accounting for more than 7,000 passengers, followed by Italy, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Barcelona and Madrid are the busiest departure airports, ahead of Vienna.
The airline and Tomorrowland are also continuing their sustainability initiatives through Green Fares, which include a 30% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) contribution and carbon compensation for the remaining emissions. For the dedicated Party Flights, the two partners jointly invest in SAF equivalent to the fuel required for each flight.
Brussels Airlines is also offering festivalgoers additional services after the event, including a baggage drop-off facility at DreamVille, Tomorrowland’s campsite, and a dedicated service desk to assist passengers before they depart Belgium.
