Brussels Airlines will launch flights to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, starting June 3, 2026, further expanding its strong African network. The new route will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, using an Airbus A330-300 with 288 seats across Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes. Round-trip fares start at €519.
The addition makes Kilimanjaro the airline’s 18th destination in sub-Saharan Africa and its fifth in East Africa, joining Entebbe, Kigali, Bujumbura, and Nairobi. The route offers easy access to Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, both UNESCO World Heritage sites.
“Sub-Saharan Africa is our second home,” said Dorothea von Boxberg, CEO of Brussels Airlines. “We’re proud to connect Kilimanjaro to Brussels and beyond while supporting Tanzania’s local economy.”
