Brussels Airlines Airbus A319 bird strike leaves nose cone damaged

On 29 August, a Brussels Airlines Airbus A319 (registered OO-SSA) operated flight SN3604 between Marseille, France and Brussels, Belgium. A post-flight inspection revealed that the aircraft suffered a bird strike, resulting in a big dent in the aircraft’s nose cone.

At moment of writing, the aircraft is still grounded. The following images were shared to Aviation24.be (identity known to the editors).
