Austrian Airlines is the Official Carrier of the Austrian Football Association (Österreichischer Fußball-Bund or ÖFB), the country’s largest sporting association, for 2015 and 2016. This year, the national carrier will be taking the players themselves, head coach Marcel Koller, their carers and fans to away qualifying matches for the UEFA EURO 2016 in France: In March the team will be travelling to Liechtenstein, in June they’ll be off to Russia, in September they’ll be visiting the well-known opponent Sweden, and at the beginning of October they’ll play in Montenegro.
“We are very pleased to accompany the Austrian national football team as it takes off on its way to the EURO 2016. Each individual player is an ambassador for Austria, just like Austrian Airlines.
