Lufthansa Group’s passenger airlines—Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and Discover Airlines—have unveiled their winter flight schedules for the 2025/26 season. The new schedule will begin on October 26, 2025, and all routes are now available for booking.
“A stable, punctual, and reliable flight schedule for all Lufthansa Group airlines for the winter, especially for the Christmas holidays, is our top priority. Our employees at the airports will ensure that everything runs smoothly. In addition, with the expansion of the Allegris offering at Lufthansa Airlines, we are bringing a significant upgrade in the premium segment to many core markets,” said Dieter Vranckx, Chief Commercial Officer, Lufthansa Group.
Lufthansa is significantly expanding its long-haul operations this winter with a major rollout of its new Allegris cabin across all travel classes: Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class. From October 26, state-of-the-art aircraft will connect Munich daily with key global cities, including New York (both JFK and Newark), Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Cape Town, and Tokyo. Bengaluru (India) will be served three times weekly.
This marks the largest simultaneous deployment of Allegris-equipped aircraft to date. Ten Airbus A350-900s featuring the new cabin will be in service this winter, and more than half a million passengers have already experienced the upgrade—reportedly with satisfaction rates near 100%. The premium cabin product will also debut in Frankfurt this year on the Boeing 787-9 and retrofitted Boeing 747-8 aircraft.
Due to high demand, Lufthansa will maintain newly introduced summer routes to Bydgoszcz (Poland) from Frankfurt and Oradea (Romania) from Munich throughout winter. Meanwhile, the Airbus A380—popular with both passengers and crew—will continue serving Munich to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bangkok, and Delhi.
Austrian Airlines is adding Amsterdam as a fourth destination from Innsbruck, joining Brussels, Warsaw, and Copenhagen. Vienna–Bangkok services are being increased to up to two daily flights.
Additionally, from October 26, Austrian will shift all Milan-bound flights from Malpensa to the more conveniently located Linate Airport. The switch comes after acquiring former ITA Airways slots, made possible by ITA’s integration into the Lufthansa Group earlier this year.
SWISS will increase service to Krakow and continue flights to Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Košice (Slovakia), which were introduced last winter. Long-haul service to Washington D.C. will also return from Zurich.
From Geneva, SWISS is boosting frequencies to the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia, catering especially to winter sports enthusiasts heading to the Swiss Alps.
Brussels Airlines continues to grow its African footprint from Brussels. Additional weekly flights will be added to Lomé (Togo), Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea), Monrovia (Liberia), Accra (Ghana), and Freetown (Sierra Leone). These additions reinforce the airline’s position as the Lufthansa Group’s specialist for West and Central Africa.
Germany’s leading leisure carrier, Eurowings, will launch three weekly non-stop flights from Berlin to Abu Dhabi in November 2025, marking the capital’s third long-haul connection after Dubai and Jeddah. Eurowings will also increase its Berlin–Dubai frequency from seven to eleven weekly flights.
New routes include Hanover–Dubai (three times weekly starting November 4) and Stuttgart–Jeddah (twice weekly). Egypt-bound travelers will benefit from new flights to Marsa Alam from Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin.
Holiday carrier Discover Airlines is adding several new long-haul routes to its winter schedule. For the first time, it will offer non-stop flights from Frankfurt to the Seychelles—marking a debut for direct service between the German hub and the island destination. Flights to Punta Cana will also launch from Munich, offering the only direct link between the Bavarian capital and the Caribbean hotspot. Additionally, Discover will introduce flights from Frankfurt to Alta, Norway.
