All new Brussels Airlines short/medium haul aircraft will be painted into the Eurowings livery

Earlier this week, Aviation24.be reported that Brussels Airlines’ latest Airbus A320 will be painted into the Eurowings-livery. But there is more:

All future Brussels Airlines short-haul and medium-haul aircraft will be painted in the Eurowings livery. As a result, the integration of the Belgian Lufthansa subsidiary into the Eurowings Group is progressing. The flights, however, would still be carried out in the AOC of Brussels Airlines, a spokeswoman confirmed to German airliners.de.

According to the spokeswoman, the reason for the unification is to develop Eurowings into a “leading pan-European airline with a strong European brand“.
