LOT Polish Airlines is set to expand its North American network with a new transatlantic service linking Warsaw Chopin Airport with San Francisco International Airport. Ticket sales for the route have already begun, with the inaugural flight scheduled for 6 May 2026.
The new service will operate four times weekly — every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday — during the summer season. Flights will be operated by LOT’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner, offering passengers a flight time of approximately 11 hours and 30 minutes.
Flight LO035 will depart Warsaw at 11:15 a.m. on Thursdays and Sundays, while flight LO037 will leave at 5:40 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The return flights, LO036 and LO038, will depart San Francisco at 3:50 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., respectively.
With San Francisco joining Chicago, New York, Newark, Miami, and Los Angeles, LOT Polish Airlines continues to strengthen its presence in the United States — one of its key long-haul markets. Over the past 12 months, the carrier has transported around 800,000 passengers on its transatlantic routes.
“The new connection will not only link the heart of Europe with the global hub for technology and innovation but will also open up new opportunities for both business and leisure travellers,” said Robert Ludera, Director of the Network Department at LOT Polish Airlines. “We are delighted to expand our offer with a successive direct flight to the U.S. West Coast.”
