Southwest Airlines and LOT Polish Airlines have launched an interline partnership, allowing passengers to book connecting journeys across both carriers on a single ticket.
Connections are available through Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco, which are served by both airlines. Travellers can combine LOT’s transatlantic flights with Southwest’s extensive US domestic network, while American passengers gain easier access to Central and Eastern Europe through LOT’s Warsaw hub.
Single-ticket itineraries can be booked through LOT, travel agencies and third-party travel websites. The announcement does not indicate that bookings are available through Southwest’s own sales channels.
LOT becomes Southwest’s 11th named airline partner as the US carrier continues to expand its international connectivity without operating its own long-haul aircraft.
