LOT Polish Airlines is expanding its long-haul Asian network with the launch of a new year-round service between Warsaw and Hanoi, Vietnam. Ticket sales have opened, with the inaugural flight scheduled for 31 March 2027.
The new route will operate three times a week, with departures from Warsaw on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and return flights from Hanoi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The service will be operated by the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with flight times of approximately 10 hours 25 minutes outbound and 11 hours 20 minutes inbound.
Hanoi will become LOT’s fifth long-haul destination in Asia, joining Tokyo, Seoul, New Delhi and the soon-to-be-launched Bangkok service. The airline says the new route reflects growing demand for travel between Poland and Vietnam, while further strengthening Warsaw’s role as a hub connecting Central and Eastern Europe with Asia.
According to Chief Commercial Officer Robert Ludera, Vietnam is one of Asia’s fastest-growing markets for both business and tourism, and the new service supports LOT’s strategy of expanding its presence across the region.
Beyond serving the Vietnamese capital, the route will also provide travellers with convenient access to northern Vietnam’s leading attractions, including Ha Long Bay, Sapa, and Ninh Binh, reinforcing Hanoi’s role as an important gateway for tourism throughout the country.
