From 28 February 2019, Air Belgium will fly between Warsaw and New York (JFK) for LOT Polish Airlines (flights LO26/LO27). The contract has been signed for two months, an extension might be possible.
Originally, the airline would have set foot on United States soil for the very first time on 1 April 2019 thanks to a deal with British Airways, that date has now come forward by operating the LOT Polish Airlines flights.
Air Belgium has proven to be a reliable ACMI carrier: they are currently flying between London Heathrow and Dubai for British Airways.
