LOT Polish Airlines has opened ticket sales for a new year-round long-haul route between Warsaw and Bangkok, with the inaugural flight scheduled for 26 October 2026. The service will operate five times per week, further expanding the carrier’s intercontinental network following the recently announced launch of flights to San Francisco.
The new route reflects growing demand for travel between Poland and Asia, particularly Thailand, which is a popular leisure destination and an increasingly important business hub in Southeast Asia. Flights from Warsaw will depart in the afternoon, with return services from Bangkok operating in the morning. Journey times will be approximately 10 hours and 20 minutes outbound and just under 12 hours on the return during the winter season.
LOT positions the Bangkok service as a key element of its long-haul growth strategy, strengthening Poland’s direct connectivity with major global destinations and offering passengers a convenient, competitive nonstop option. The launch has been welcomed by Thai tourism authorities, who see the route as a catalyst for deeper cooperation in tourism, trade and investment between the two countries.
