LOT Polish Airlines has unveiled a new cabin interior for its Boeing 737 MAX 8 fleet, marking the next step in a broader strategy to enhance the end-to-end passenger experience. The first aircraft featuring the new design entered service on 2 January 2026, with the concept to be rolled out gradually across the fleet.
The new interior draws inspiration from Poland’s natural scenery, particularly the Tatra Mountains and the warm tones of sunrise, reflected through a palette of deep blues, copper and amber accents. The design continues the visual identity already introduced in LOT’s revamped business lounges in Warsaw and Chicago, reinforcing a consistent brand experience across aircraft, airport spaces and digital touchpoints.
Developed in collaboration with UK-based design agency Tangerine, the cabin blends aesthetics with functionality. Passengers will benefit from new-generation seats featuring six-way adjustable headrests, 60W USB-C power, mobile device holders and improved ergonomics aimed at enhancing comfort on longer flights. The seats are manufactured in Poland by RECARO, underscoring LOT’s emphasis on domestic craftsmanship.
According to the airline, the new cabin is more than a cosmetic refresh. It forms part of a long-term transformation focused on quality, comfort and a strong sense of Polish identity—an aspect particularly valued by passengers travelling on long-haul routes to and from North America. LOT plans to extend this design language to additional aircraft types and customer-facing environments as it continues to modernise its product offering.
