LOT Polish Airlines achieved the best month in its 96-year history in July 2025, transporting 1,185,946 passengers on 11,072 flights. The carrier’s aircraft logged 25,623 flight hours and covered 15.5 million kilometres, both record figures.
Popular European destinations included Vilnius, London, and Amsterdam, while Toronto, New York (JFK), and Chicago led long-haul demand. Growth was driven by LOT’s expanding network, with new routes launched this year from Warsaw to Thessaloniki, Malta, Reykjavik, Lisbon, and from Kraków to Paris Orly. Upcoming additions include Marrakesh and Rovaniemi.
CEO Micha? Fijo? credited the milestone to passenger trust and staff dedication, noting that nearly 60% of LOT’s passengers are transfers via Warsaw Chopin Airport. To sustain growth, LOT is expanding its fleet, with the first of 13 Boeing 737 MAX 8s and previously ordered Airbus A220s arriving later this year as part of its 2024–2028 strategy.
