LOT Polish Airlines expands its network with new direct routes to Istanbul and Malaga

Share

LOT Polish Airlines has launched two new international routes, strengthening its European and intercontinental connectivity for both leisure and business travellers.

From 14 January 2026, the national carrier inaugurated direct flights between Gda?sk and Istanbul, operating four times weekly. The new service provides northern Poland with non-stop access to Istanbul, a major global hub linking Europe and Asia, and supports both tourism and business travel through convenient afternoon departures and evening returns.

One day later, on 15 January 2026, LOT also launched regular direct flights from Warsaw to Malaga, opening up one of Southern Europe’s most popular destinations. The route will gradually increase to six weekly frequencies, offering passengers flexible travel options to Andalusia and the Costa del Sol. With a flight time of approximately four hours, the connection is designed to serve both holidaymakers and travellers visiting the region for cultural, business or leisure purposes.

Together, the two new routes reflect LOT Polish Airlines’ strategy to expand its international network, strengthen its presence at regional airports, and offer direct, time-efficient connections to key economic, cultural and tourist destinations across Europe and beyond.
