A LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 (registered SP-LVO) operating flight LO6212 from Palma de Mallorca to Warsaw was forced to divert to Milan Malpensa Airport after a crew member suffered a medical emergency shortly after departure.

The aircraft changed course around 50 minutes into the flight after the captain requested medical assistance. Following a safe landing in Milan, emergency responders treated the affected crew member immediately.

While Polish media reported that one of the pilots may have lost consciousness, LOT Polish Airlines confirmed only that a crew member had collapsed and did not specify their role.

Passengers remained in Milan for several hours while the airline dispatched a replacement crew. The flight later resumed to Warsaw, with all passengers arriving safely at their destination with a delay of more than 6 hours.
