LOT and Port Polska to host TIACA global executive meeting

Share

LOT Polish Airlines will co-host the 2026 TIACA Global Executive Summit 2026 in Warsaw from 1–3 June 2026, marking the first time the event will be held in Poland. More than 350 senior air cargo executives are expected to attend.

The summit, organised by The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA), will focus on major industry themes including e-commerce growth, new trade routes, digitalisation, sustainability, and supply-chain resilience.

LOT says the event reflects the rising importance of Central and Eastern Europe in global logistics and highlights the rapid growth of its cargo division, LOT Cargo. The airline noted that around 40% of Poland’s air cargo is now handled directly rather than routed through Western European hubs.

The summit will also showcase Poland’s broader logistics ambitions, including the development of Port Polska and its planned Cargo City logistics complex, where LOT Cargo is expected to play a major role.

LOT emphasised that its cargo operations continue to expand through belly cargo capacity on passenger flights, road feeder services, and specialised freight transport, helping strengthen Poland’s role in global supply chains.
