LATAM Cargo will begin weekly freighter flights between Brussels and São José dos Campos, Brazil, on 2 October 2025, doubling to twice-weekly in the winter season. The new service eliminates the need for transhipment through other Brazilian airports, cutting logistics costs and reducing transit times.
Each flight will carry around 50 tonnes of industrial and consumer goods, serving São José dos Campos’ strategic role as Brazil’s second-largest industrial hub. The route strengthens LATAM’s network expansion, which includes 15 additional weekly frequencies between Europe and South America.
The carrier, which operates 21 freighters and ranks among IATA’s top 25 cargo airlines, said the move reinforces its position as the most flexible cargo operator on the Europe–South America trade lane.
