LASER Aéro Colombia Douglas DC-3 crashes near Villavicencio, Colombia; no survivors

On 9 March, a LASER Aéro Colombia Douglas DC-3 (HK-2494) crashed southeast of Bogota, Colombia. The aircraft was operating a flight between San Jose del Guaviare and Villavicencio and suddenly lost height close to its destination. 

Just before approaching the airport, the pilots declared an emergency. All 12 occupants have perished. The wreckage was found in the village of La Bendicion near Villavicencio.
