Korean Air has finalised a record order for 103 Boeing aircraft, confirming a procurement commitment first announced in August 2025.
The order comprises 20 Boeing 777-9 passenger aircraft, 25 787-10 Dreamliners, 50 737-10 narrowbodies and eight 777-8 Freighters. It covers both passenger and cargo operations and will support the airline’s long-term fleet modernisation programme.
Previously listed by Boeing as an unidentified customer order, the agreement was formally announced at an event in Seoul attended by Korean Air chairman and CEO Walter Cho, Boeing Commercial Airplanes president and CEO Stephanie Pope, and senior US and South Korean officials.
Boeing described the deal as an outcome of bilateral trade negotiations and a sign of the continuing industrial partnership between the United States and South Korea.
