Kenya Airways and Safarilink Aviation have launched a one-way codeshare partnership to simplify travel for international tourists heading to Kenya’s iconic safari destinations. Starting immediately, passengers can book international flights and domestic safari connections on a single ticket, linking KQ’s global network with Safarilink’s flights to nine airstrips in the Maasai Mara, as well as Amboseli, Nanyuki, and Samburu.
The partnership aims to streamline travel, reduce delays, and enhance access to remote regions—supporting local communities and conservation. Safarilink’s fleet, including Cessna Caravans and Dash-8 aircraft, is ideally suited for short-haul routes to Kenya’s wilderness areas.
With leisure travel making up 44.2% of Kenya’s tourist arrivals in 2024, this move strengthens Kenya’s position as a top safari destination and offers tourists a faster, more convenient way to experience the country’s natural beauty.
