On 19 May, passengers on a JetBlue Embraer ERJ-190AR (N266JB) were forced to evacuate the aircraft after a “potential security incident“. The aircraft was about to depart Charlotte Airport for flight B2618 to New York JFK.
JetBlue said that flight 2618 was delayed “for additional security screenings out of an abundance of caution.” According to a passenger on board, the pilot informed them there had been a bomb threat. The flight has now been postponed until 16:45 (local time).
