Budapest Airport has celebrated the launch of Jet2.com’s new twice-weekly flights to Newcastle and the East Midlands, strengthening links between Hungary and Northern and Central England. The additions expand the UK leisure carrier’s Budapest network, which already includes Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds Bradford.
Airport CCO Markus Klaushofer said the new routes reflect both strong demand from the UK and Jet2.com’s long-standing commitment to the Hungarian market. The expansion further boosts Budapest’s appeal as a leading Central European city-break destination, while deepening the airport’s partnership with Jet2.com and the VINCI Airports network.
