Struggling Indian airline Jet Airways faces more problems as on Wednesday (10 April), one of their Boeing 777 (VT-JEW) got grounded at the airport of Amsterdam Schiphol: a European cargo firm has seized the aircraft over unpaid bills.
The airline is now looking for alternative solutions for the fully booked flight that was scheduled to Mumbai, India. The airline “regrets inconvenience caused to its guests“.
The airline seems to be in complete distress as it’s facing unpaid employees, lessors and other stakeholders. Furthermore, the promised emergency funding have not arrived (yet).
