JAL X Kei Nishikori special “JET-KEI” aircraft to be launched on international routes

Tokyo February 26, 2016: Japan Airlines (JAL) has announced that it will launch a special aircraft with brand partner, professional tennis star Kei Nishikori. The jet, called “JET-KEI,” will begin flying on international routes on March 4, 2016.

The theme of this special aircraft was meant to capture Nishikori’s aggressive playing style and his eagerness to reach the top of the Tennis world. The aircraft will make its inaugural flight sending off Nishikori and the rest of Japanese National Tennis team on board JL043 from Haneda to London Heathrow in order to compete in the Davis Cup beginning March 4, 2016.

JAL will continue to support Nishikori’s challenging spirit, as the airline hopes to raise the awareness and trustworthiness of the JAL Brand in its hopes to become the most preferred airline in the world.
