VIP treatment for 4,000,000th Vueling passenger from Brussels Airport

Vueling, the leading airline at the airport of Barcelona-El Prat today greeted with fanfare its four millionth passenger at Brussels Airport, one of the travellers recorded on the VY2151 flight to Malaga. To celebrate this event, the low-cost premium company and Brussels Airport have organized a typical small Spanish party.

Vueling and Brussels Airport welcomed passengers of flight VY2151 at the boarding gate with tapas and cava. Joyce Borremans had the honor of being officially designated ‘4,000,000th Vueling passenger from Brussels Airport‘. Wim Melis, Vueling Country Manager for the Benelux, offered her 2 return tickets to one of the 11 direct Vueling destinations from Brussels. A pleasant surprise to start a family holiday in Malaga and Granada for Joyce!

Vueling takes off from Newcastle

Vueling Airlines has today celebrated the launch of regular flights from Newcastle International Airport to Barcelona and beyond.

The airline will operate twice weekly services with flights departing Tuesday and Friday until June, when the frequency will increase to three times a week with a new Sunday service. Flights will also continue through winter 2016/17, with a twice weekly service every Friday and a Sunday.

The Spanish carrier will not only offer North East holidaymakers the chance to discover the vibrant capital of Catalonia, but also connect onward to some of Spain’s most idyllic destinations.
