LEVEL, the low-cost long-haul subsidiary of IAG (British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling, etc.), is opening a new base in Paris Orly in Summer 2018, with two Airbus A330-200 aircraft offering 314 seats (21 in Premium Economy and 293 in Economy).

From June 2017 until now, LEVEL was flying exclusively with A330-200 aircraft from Barcelona.

From Paris, LEVEL will open routes to New York EWR, Montreal, and Martinique and Guadeloupe islands in the French Antilles. As such it will enter into competition with Air France and its new subsidiary Joon.

Simultaneously, British Airways’ subsidiary Open Skies will cease its flights from Paris to New York. The new LEVEL flights will be operated by the Open Skies crews.

Paris Orly, like Barcelona, is a Vueling hub and can thus count on feeding flights of the low-cost airline.

LEVEL currently flies two Airbus A330-200 aircraft and it has ordered three more.
